Currently we are sitting in the terminal in Charlotte, North Carolina. It’s 3:43 pm and we’re taking off at 4:45 pm. I’m unbelievably excited. We should be arriving in Paris, France around 2 am US time and 7:50 am France time.

We’ve all boarded the plane now. I’m sitting in the middle back of the plane next to Megan, and John and Kathy are in front of us. Luckily one of the three seats is unoccupied so we can stretch out and be comfortable.

It was sad saying goodbye to everyone but Europe is going to be an absolute blast. Getting out and exploring the world is worth a short goodbye. Plus, I plan on writing everyone post cards.

I can’t believe this is happening! I’m ready to wake up any time now and go on with my everyday life. What a beautiful learning experience. Dr. Anna said this is more like getting your feet wet in traveling so I plan to go back. It really wasn’t as expensive as I thought it would be to travel other countries. Just save up to beach trips and bam, I could be in Germany for a couple weeks.

Well we’re in on our way, no turning back now, not that I’d want to anyway. I’m going to take a nap.
